School holiday program for riders 8 years and up (beginner and intermediate level).

Grab your bike!

The program caters for beginners to intermediate level riders. Sessions are 3.5hr in duration, priced at $55 per session and held at both Clarence MTB Park (Mornington) and Glenorchy MTB Park (Tolosa Park).

From mastering the basics to riding challenging trails with confidence and flow, the program focuses on developing solid foundations for young riders.

Each session is a blend of riding games, challenges, and group trail rides. Not only do we hit some of Tassie’s best trails for some insane riding, but we also create an environment where kids celebrate small and big wins together and support their riding mates when it’s needed the most.

Come along and hit the trails with the MTB crew!

We believe in the transformative power of riding bikes, learning, and having fun outdoors.

The fine print for our bike programs...

TERMS AND CONDITIONS.... This program involves riding a bike on off road mountain bike trails that often involve uphill sections. Some riders may find the hills challenging for their fitness. It is important that children ride their bikes in the lead up to this program to build their fitness. Riders are required to have a mountain bike with gears and at least 'front' suspension, sized correctly, with a front and back brake (no pedal brakes are allowed!!). The bike will need a bottle cage fitted to the ‘lower’ tube (not mounted to the handlebars). Bikes must be in good mechanical order. An approved helmet is required (gloves recommended). Parents need to remain contactable throughout the program. You may be required to collect your child: - If their bike fails and can’t be quickly fixed - If they fall off and are not able to continue - if they are not behaving or will not listen to the coaches - if they aren't comfortable riding their bike on the designated trails - or, if they don't want to participate If the program does not reach the minimum numbers within 1 week, the program may be cancelled and all participants will be refunded (or credited by request). In the event of an extreme weather forecast, bush fire risk, extreme heat, thunderstorms or torrential rain, the program may be rescheduled. You will be notified by text message or email. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, we will refund your program fees. Photographic Images and Video: Please advise the instructor if you do not wish for photos or videos to be captured of you child/red at this program. Group images may be posted on public social media channels, used for promotional purposes in connection with other Y programs and services and/or used for annual reports. Please advise us immediately if you see an images that you want taken down or deleted.
